Tara’s MATCHA LATTE RECIPE
The first time I tried what is now the incredibly popular drink known as matcha, was many years ago in London Japan restaurant. Concentrated green powder and hot water was whisked perfectly into a frothy tea right in front of my eyes. The tea had earthy tase, like nothing I ever experienced before.
Now matcha is widely popular and has powerful, body, mind and beauty benefits.
Protecting your body from ageing, significantly help to lose weight , increases metabolism flushing toxins and chemicals.
Matcha helps with memory, attention and better performance in reaction time.
Due to its caffeine content, morning or afternoon is the best time to drink matcha.
This is how I drink Matcha Latte and I am obsessed with this recipe.
Dairy- Free matcha Latte
1/2 cup hot water
1/2 cup hot almond milk (coconut milk also can be used)
1 teaspoon matcha powder
1 tablespoon honey
Instructions:
1. Add 1 teaspoon matcha powder and a small amount of hot water to a mug or small bowl
2. Using a whisk, briskly make a green paste.
3. Add the rest of the water, almond milk (coconut milc) and honey.
4. Whisk until combined. (Optional: use a milk frother for extra foam.)
